July 7, 2004: A tornado was spotted in the Rockwell Pass area of Sequoia National Park, CA. The elevation of the twister’s ground circulation was approximately 3705 m (12,156 ft) above sea level. This is one of the highest-elevation tornadoes documented in the US.
