We love the playground Ōtorohanga and make it a frequent road trip stop. But having two totally separate toilets marked mens and womens is stupid and unnecessary. (I ignore the sign and go to whatever is free, but I still think it's stupid.)

I went to the most phenomenal performance this evening. Matariki He Kāhui Reo is a ten-movement cantata that debuted at the World Choir Games. The venue, singing, and vibe were all just perfect, and the whole thing was a beautiful celebration of Matariki and Māori culture. I loved it. 🌟🎶

I'm on a train! (Which I wish was just normal, but for someone from a small city in Aotearoa, it's quite the opposite!)
