I wonder if anybody has made a Spotify playlist of these. I guess it would end up having a disproportionate amount of Rage Against The Machine, make it roll like an egg.
rage doesn't really have that many songs tbh. they recorded like 3 albums of original songs, then a cover album, then Zach bounced. They haven't released anything new in way over a decade. It would be a disproportionate number of songs compared to other artists, but probably not overwhelming.
Always loved the inclusion of "Head Like a Hole" here.

What’s amazing about this list, and I remember this from the time, is like…1 out of every 5 songs you can go “ok I see why they thought that.” The rest are just someone with a hate boner for cat Stevens
i mean fuck john lennon but that at least makes some kind of sense in the context of "we want war we dont want things that suggest not-war" like putting louie armstrong on there as well
