Whenever my Internet stops working, I fiddle around w things to try and fix it, and as I do that I Google the word "work" like I'm commanding it to work, and then eventually when it works a picture of Rihanna pops up w the text "work work work work work"
It is pretty much not possible for many neurotypicals as well. It's a feature of the genre. Anyone who approaches it has to try, really really hard to play it.
I'm not saying that their thinking isn't fucking distorted either. It obviously is and much of the community is obviously toxic. What I'm advocating for is... Ignoring those fuckfaces, and playing the game if you want to as it already is accessible, if you want it to be
Ways to make Elden Ring more accessible:
- Ignore wankers
- Stop comparing yourself to others
- Be kinder and less judgemental towards yourself
- Learn to love dying and getting lost
- Accept that the difficulty and vagueness is literally what makes these games great
- GOOGLE WHAT TO DO NEXT
You can still enjoy the critically-acclaimed DLC as a disabled or neurodivergent person, you just have to work hard to be kind to yourself when it's difficult, and try to stop comparing your experience to others'. The extreme difficulty is literally the point to all of those fromsoft games.
