Oh, I hadn't noticed that. That would be bad, definitely. I got burned years ago debugging something where an O vs. 0 in a string made all the difference. Back then I was using Courier New (shudder). Do you have a suggestion for a better font?

I like Fira Code; you can disable the fancy ligatures if they get jarring, but I kind of like them.

Not quite, a bra is a vector in a space dual to the ket space. An operator normally needs to be expressed as something involving | >< |, coincidentally mimicking the looks on my students' faces when I lecture about bilinear expansions of operators 😖 (i'm supposed to be on vacation sorry)

You can nest language and it gets even better. I'm not anywhere close to an expert, but as far as I'm aware, after " ", you can ' ' for a quote within a quote. But.... You can ' ' for a quote within a quote within a quote So she said "she said ' she said 'she said 'she said' ' ' " I think is correct

I think it goes doubles, single, doubles, single. Like, it alternates between layers

It's rather confusing looking either way and it's still amazing.
