Thank you, and I agree. I lived in Huntsville, Alabama for 7 years in the mid 60s / early 70s because my dad worked on Apollo. I got to see the mighty Saturn V stage tested live on Redstone Arsenal. It shook our house every time. I said, "Wow!" I was 10. This is why I like rockets.

Good evening. I just drove by a parked cop car that absolutely had a mannequin in the driver’s seat.

I've seen this in rural Massachusetts. I've also seen a state patrol car parked to be easily seen on Route 6 heading onto Cape Cod with *no one* in the driver's seat. They couldn't be bothered with a mannequin.

(Hint to staties) It would be better if they left their radar on, because radar detectors. It would be so sad if the patrol car wouldn't start afterwards, because of battery drain.

That's true. TFG truly seems to love golf. Even though he cheats at it when competing with others. But he could not take any time at all to call any of the families hurt at his rally. They just don't seem to matter to him. His utter disregard for anyone else is why he should not have power again.

The man went golfing the morning after someone tried to kill him. Contrast w/ George Wallace, who completely changed his attitude on everything after surviving an attempt on his life. I lived in Alabama when GW was governor. It was a hellscape. Still, I respect him more for his change of heart.

It’s gonna be really hot for the next 10 days or so - please make sure to protect your dogs. Limit outdoor activity (just like you do in extreme cold conditions) make sure they’re cool, have fresh water, cooling pads, etc etc. So many dogs die because people don’t realize they can get heat stroke.
