People who didn't live through the 1980s, and then anti-retrovirals, and then PREP, and now this.... We lost so many people. Parts of Africa lost almost a generation of parents. Sex will never be what it was before HIV/AIDs, but being sexually active doesn't have to be deadly.
Tell then if they do that they'll have lost a huge chunk of votes. Some of us actually support not losing another soul to AIDS regardless of their lifestyle.
I'm aware of this. This was one of his biggest blunders, especially in light of the understanding that a very wide range of people can get the disease simply because they all have blood in them.
I remember the scolds fighting the hpv vaccines because they worried that it encouraged sex by making it less risky. I'm sure they'll be back on their bullshit for this. But idk, this is great news and worthy of tremendous celebration. We shouldn't let some loud losers ruin something so great.
