The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirms that a Columbus, Ohio, police officer detailed to the RNC shot and killed a homeless Black man (earlier reported to be in his early 20s) more than half a mile from the RNC arena. The man was known by the nickname Jehovah and took care of a pit bull named Isis.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel now says that FIVE Columbus police officers shot and killed the homeless Black man well outside the RNC security perimeter. Columbus Police say the shooting took place within the officers' assigned "operational zone."

I hate several of Biden’s hires and love several of them, but the ones I love I really love. Like Deb Haaland is killing it.

One of the more successful American presidents basically had his wife unofficially running the country for a while so I’m ok if a corpse wins the election for the Dems as long as the corpse can win and there’s a shadow pres running the show. Never been convinced a pres actually does much anyway.

serious question: has anyone published a comprehensive explainer on the process steps required to a) replace biden on the ticket (with and against his will) b) hold a mini-primary at the convention c) get the winner of that primary on the ballot in all 50 states d) determine who takes the money pot
