and sadly somewhere between 40 and 45 percent of voters still support him. As long as that doesn't change and the GOP stays in line behind him he will be a threat.
They are in a cult. It’s impossible to reason with his supporters, they do not respond to facts. I’ve been trying to jostle the ones I know loose for almost a decade now. Was hoping that the courts would follow the laws on the books but they aren’t going to. Unfortunate but predictable.
And even sadder, that base is not going to change their minds at this late date. In hindsight, the time to have called him out on demagoguery was when he kept having all those rallies even after winning—I mean, who does that?—still not sure why this did not get better analysis/more scrutiny. Sadly.
Like I’m seriously shocked that his arteries have not given out. He’s in terrible shape to begin with plus the stress of all these court cases and losing his fortune. It’s a miracle he hasn’t had an aneurysm.
Everyone just says to vote and doesn't say anything about what happens after the election when Trump attempts insurrection #2 instead of conceding
If Trump respected elections, so much of this wouldn't be a problem right now
Exactly. We already fired him and he’s stalking the nation like a serial killer with a case of gonorrhea.
But we’ve learned that America has only been protected from being conquered by its geography, not its institutions because they are selling us out hard and for a washed up game show host
The ballot box won't help us either because the electoral college still exists. If Trump manages to lose the popular vote, but win the electoral college, I think there has to be a wave of civil disobedience that will show the tepid Democrats that this cannot stand. We have to shut this fucker down
The only question is, if Trump is defeated at the ballot box, will it matter in the face of an illegitimate court moving heaven and earth to elevate him?
We need to give Biden and the Dems control of the WH, senate and house.
Then Biden needs to stack the courts and we need to get rid of the electoral count and send the rescumlicans to go hang out with the Whigs
I might have been skeptical that voting might be enough until I saw Ohio voters enshrine abortion rights into their state constitution in one of the reddest, most corrupt states in the US.
