Hasn’t he already deleted notes on a few of his own tweets? If he can control them but still use them as a shield (“we have robust moderation in a marketplace of ideas”) in interviews or investigations then he’d be an idiot to bin them… so yeah maybe he will.
He deleted notes on his tweets, and some of the ones applied to authoritarian propaganda tweeted out by regimes like China's, for example.
Considering how often Community Notes utterly destroys him, I’m frankly amazed he hasn’t banished it already.
So he lets that n*zi asshole back on twitter, says "let him speak freely and be judged by community notes", then dismantles community notes.
Sounds about right for him.

It's done nothing good for him, I reckon internal schemes to keep it going is all that's standing between us and community notes being removed.
