I didn’t read the story but I’m imagining it as a tale of a beloved 70s rocker who instantly loses his fame, fortune, and future at an ill-advised concert during which he imports a herd of bovines from an adoring monastery in India and murders them onstage in expectation of proto-lulz.
It’s hard for me to remember any particular performance or scene from A TIME TO KILL because all competing moments seeking permanent residence in my mental hard drive are summarily destroyed by the luminescent glory of these few seconds from Oliver Platt…

HBO’s Perry Mason is terrific…unless

In a world of damn shames, one of history’s biggest damn shames is the (relative) overall dearth of *truly* HQ videos of flatpicker Tony Rice.
Think of the scores of TRU shows, early DGQ concerts & 80s/90s festival sets with Sam, Bela, Flux, etc, that might’ve been professionally recorded.
