there are many things to critique about league but some of the world lore is the most egregious in my opinion & often the least remarked-upon bc it's a tendency so common in western fantasy genres that it precedes games & is treated as inclusive instead of what it actually is ie racist

The contempt that's been shown for young people over the past few months is going to be hard to overcome.

also ig one good thing that happened today: i had a relative who really did not grasp the implications of the chevron doctrine & thought overturning it was good bc they thought it existed to allow blackrock & raytheon to unduly influence regulatory legislation for their own financial gain

re: this is was actually deeply struggling to justify voting in the wake of oct 7th bc the only responses ppl would give me were this kind of smug question abt why i wasnt scared for the safety of my own personal identity group. like i havent been scared for the last 10+ years w increasing intensity

i am lucky to have the friends i have & know the ppl i know bc one of them was able to articulate to me his logic about voting that actually changed how i think abt it! 🤍
