Like throwing a rock at a window. The spiderwebbing cracks take a *long* time to spread, and you kind of just have to replace the window, at a certain point.
It often occurs to me that the Murdochs either have unwarranted confidence in Western democracy or unwarranted confidence that their wealth will shield them from the collapse of that democracy.
The last 8 years of American history have taught me to not have trust in institutions, and that whenever possible, they are trodden upon and rendered useless.
We need to stop pretending that we're in normal times. Or facing normal foes.
