Taking my boy cat to the vet first thing tomorrow. Not sure why he's not eating and just laying around. He's my fat boy and now he's getting skinny which is freaking me out.

Made myself feel better by looking at my posts from a year ago. I was in a really bad place mentally because of my old job. It makes me feel better seeing how I am somewhere now where I feel appreciated. I can handle hard work, but it sucks when it never lets up. I feel supported here.

For the first time since I got this job, I'm feeling sad only because I have to work 16 hours on my birthday. I know I will get through it but it's just one of those things. I had to work my ass off on my last birthday too. Next year I'm taking my birthday off.

Excited for Blind Pilot tonight. I saw them long ago at the El Rey and it was such a great experience. I can't wait to hear their new music.

I worked mapping out an oil seep today and tomorrow I'm working on top of a cliff facing the ocean. You better believe I'm not going to take my job for granted. I freaking love it.

Blue MAGA acts like we're being childish for refusing to vote for a candidate who is actively participating in genocide. When Biden loses it's because he is a terrible candidate, not because the left is somehow to blame. The age of taking voters & their morals for granted is over.

Totally jealous of Mexico and who their next president is going to be. It's inspiring that they are making themselves heard. I hope one day we can get something like that.
