We are probably never going to hear the end of the infighting over Biden stepping down, b/c unless something shifts before November you could basically bet $$$ Trump will get reelected. Both sides will be blaming each other for that and bringing it up forever after.

I don't even think that's luck. The throughline here shows the DNC is just persistently weak.

I'm constantly marveling at Trump's luck as a politician. He only won in 2016 because he ran against one of the Democrats' weakest candidates. In 2024 he ends up running against someone even weaker.

Re: all the presidential immunity discourse, I don't really see what Biden is supposed to do other than resign to let a new candidate run. Even if he wouldn't be criminally liable for ordering a hit on Trump, it's not like that would actually work lol

Pride was really important to me when i was first coming out. it helped me feel good and confident in my queerness. having these events where we all come together to celebrate the unifying theme of finding joy in our self-expression—an expression that society has often denounced—is super important.

It seems baffling how our country ever got into this predicament in the first place, until you talk for like 2 seconds with a Lib. They genuinely don't see the problem — with the candidate, or the system that nominated him.

What Biden did that none of the younger candidates managed in 2020 was win a substantial number of Black votes. That’s the entire reason they all gave up after South Carolina
