I do think the Senate should open up hearings into SCOTUS before the election. They may or may not get anything directly this term, but SCOTUS should be embarrassed and voters should be thinking about who they want appointing future justices.

Then hold a hearing with them in absentia. Invite them. Tell them they are welcome. Invite legal scholars to speak. Produce videos of them speaking at their confirmation hearings. Admit evidence. If they choose not to speak, then say "Let the record show that the Justice chose not to respond."
the last two times the Dems have had trifectas, they squandered them doing nothing. i hope it happens, but i won't hold my breath. it's all one big club
