* ...who are likely to be carrying a gun...
* ...& who, if they're COPS, will also likely be impossible to prosecute.
This is actually a liability win for the company.🤷
Sure, they could be sued (assuming there's nothing in the TOS to preclude that), but could the plaintiff win? Is any American court likely to find that only hiring cops is a security-negative?
Cities pay out huge settlements regularly because cops misbehave while the cops skate because of qualified immunity. A corporation employing them would be in either the same or a worse position as the cities.
