The worst thing for Trump today is that the media are now showing us camera angles revealing that the rally was actually really small.

The Oval Office address has to happen. Most of the country is seeing daily temps over 90, the GOP convention starts tomorrow, and folks will be looking to pick fights.

Trump lavishing praise on Rittenhouse's intentional murder of protesters remains the most galling example to me because it demonstrates how little the real and terrible violence mattered to him when it was pointed at "undesirables." "He should not have had to suffer through a trial for that."

Two months ago Greg Abbott pardoned a murderer who texted a friend "I might go to Dallas to shoot looters" then drove into a BLM protest in Austin and killed a protester. The universal response from conservatives to the pardon was "Yeah! Woo-hoo!" Now they say liberals should turn down the rhetoric
