Since writing this article, I have received messages from angry men, calling me names, telling I’m wrong, & that I’d be begging a man to save me if I was lost in the woods. To recap, there are men are sending me abusive emails to prove they are the safe choice. So far, no bears have written in.

Bluesky is officially “open” now (no more invites). So just a reminder to not engage with trolls and bad actors, there is no algorithm here to promote or spread them, replying to them is what puts them on everybody’s timelines. So block and give no oxygen.

Just got back from a trip to the Oregon coast, and I have LOTS of pictures. However, this pic of Frankie being "bat dog" thanks to the wind might be my favorite. His ears were just flapping in the wind with how strong it was.
