I am begging my Bluesky friends not to respond to trolls, because the platform's setup means that every time you do, that troll's inciting, offensive statement ends up on the timelines of all your friends and taints everybody's day! I really want to see YOUR thoughts, not theirs.

Feeling almost every beat of my heart in the most uncomfortable way. 🥴 Trying to keep still, rest the mind, but the mind is so unable to rest. ADHD doesn't make mind rest the most easy task, tbf. I wonder if that's why having ADHD puts you at higher risk with covid?

Just tested positive with covid for the first time. 😭

I've been very absent here, sorry mates. It's been a wild week plus for me! My son was sick for a couple days, and then instead of getting better he got a whole lot worse .. turned out it was appendicitis so he had an emergency surgery! I've been tending to him while he recovers.

a word to horrified folks dismissing this as too crazy to pass or “won’t last long cos of nicknames.” please take it seriously. there were ~20 anti-lgbtq bills pitched in 2018. ~550 in 2023 & most passed review. many are law now. most were too crazy in 2018. believe us when we say we are at risk.
