As things stand it’s not controversial to say Trump is in the lead but people should really try to remember that every Democratic operative has generalized anxiety disorder and every Republican operative is on coke
something that has been really striking about this election is the degree to which Republicans have just assumed that they're going to win despite running a candidate that lost the last election, with a huge fundraising disadvantage and a GOT apparatus that seems uh not very professional
There is power in that confidence though and I wish the Dems would find it. If they had it I might even believe you could change candidates this late and still win.
Yeah and you know who was part of the mix back then? Roger Stone, Matt Schlapp, Joel Kaplan (now a VP at Facebook/Meta), Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump (who ran for President that year)...
The deck is stacked for sure. The "liberal" media have it out for Biden and the Dems too. It's crazy to watch America collapse before your eyes.
The Dems need to look at France and the UK, see that progressive policies are popular, and go on full offense until November.
I think many of them lack that confidence in private but they are good at presenting a confident united front. They have very good message discipline and don’t air dirty laundry in public. Dems are messy as hell
They poll every hour on the hour and anytime a poll skews ANY way it's posted and screamed over.
Over and over.
Snapshots of a moment made to think are a zeitgeist.
And every Dem operative believes in The System as a way to effect positive change or in advancing their careers (or
both). And is terrified of any failure.
Every GOP operative has no skill beyond shamelessness and needs the Bubble of BS to have their "careers".
Judge statements accordingly.
Come on now, people have spent a week and a half panicking and calling for his opponent to drop out, I don’t know if he’ll win but it’s silly to pretend he’s not currently in the lead
