Thinking I’ll have the students in my class in the psychology of disinfo read this. We talk regularly about what it takes to break through disinfo and conspiracy theories. Small bits of information don’t seem to work. But overwhelming with information may be effective, if hard to do.

Recently: NASA JPL had to lay off hundreds of people. Today: news that approved and allocated budgets for observations with NASA's Chandra X-ray observatory are being unilaterally cut by ~30% because of lack of funding. Congressional inability to address discretionary spending is hitting hard. 🧪
