I’m up for trying new things, but I also like to order what I know I’ll enjoy.

I used to go to a Thai restaurant near my office and being a creature of habit, I’d tend to order the same appetizers and entree. Got to where they recognized me and took my order by the time I was seated, didn’t bother to give me a menu.

It gives me an idea if there are a few things I’d like to have and can decide by the time that I arrive at the restaurant; saves me time at the restaurant, from pondering.

I read the novelization of “The Last Starfighter” (via the local library) before I ever saw the movie. I agree how that was often the way that I “saw” some movies. Going to the movies didn’t happen often and having a vcr was a rarity (usually watched vhs tapes at an aunt’s house).

I remember when I had to double check that the radio station wasn’t repeating a song of theirs so soon.

He had “The Touch”. Too soon? This was one of those movies that was brutal for a kid to watch. Such as when the Autobots are annihilated on the ship, with Megatron smirking right before he blows away Ironhide, who is on the ground.

His tongue sticking out conveys many of our moods quite well.
