Liberal democracy, like all systems of government, is propped up by an implicit threat of violence

Anyway, the article itself says they have no idea why the guy was there. You've become a very annoying troll

If I can refute the central insinuation of your article in five seconds by searching google, what you're doing is not journalism

Eight times in eight months over the last year, that's so crazy!

Wonder why the White House would have a Parkinson's expert visiting over the last year. Very suspicious stuff
Breaking News: A Parkinson’s expert visited the White House eight times in eight months from last summer through this spring, according to official visitor logs. The administration has said that President Biden has no signs of the disease.

People don't remember this anymore, but after Obama's bad first debate with Romney he dropped by ~4 percentage points in the national head-to-heads. There's no archive for 538 for 2012 (thanks NYT), but RCP's average (for what that's worth) shows this as well. The debate was October 3rd.

Like this is not consistent with the headline. It's also not really true. Biden has made several public appearances (he looked fine during all of them) and is going to be on George Stephanopoulos on Sunday.

The response the campaign gave here seems like normal, boilerplate "we don't quite have a prepared remark yet and it would be inappropriate to make one off-the-cuff", so I'm not sure what impulse is behind reporting it this way. (I know that you did not write this article.)

If you need some inspiration on taking action despite the fecklessness of your own leaders, there's an historical figure you can read up on

This is what the Times is running with. Like... did they watch the same debate as you all? I certainly know they're not our friend, yet this seems fine

Wait, Paul Musgrave's account was *suspended*? Or is this some default splash page because they haven't come up with one for deactivations yet?

They all want Trump to win, next question

Oh this is fun, that joke Wikipedia screenshot about My Neighbor Totoro was written up by some moron at GameRant as if it were true

The writer even includes that funny (but absolutely fake) Miyazaki quote. He cites a book that does not, in fact, say anything like this. (I checked.)

If you haven't seen the original joke screenshot, it's pretty funny. Also definitely not true! Though I suppose one of you could go edit this passage into wikipedia now and cite the GameRant article.

Charlamagne Tha God readily admits that Trump is an existential threat to basic representative democracy but doesn't think this is sufficient for him to endorse Joe Biden. I don't know how to make sense of that.
