My Gran had this set. It's so pretty in person.

The first time I saw that, about 40 years ago, I really did wonder if it was worth going on with my design career. But then so many other examples of great design did the same thing, and at some point you just have to accept, but strive to surpass, your own mediocrity—and forge ahead.

Pretty cool that, despite having never seen these books before, i guessed which ones it was before magnifyng the picture and reading the titles. That really is good design.

I own this set and I treasure it.

This one is very subtle and pretty good. (Monk, the main character, is very OCD).
