i was so skeptical after reading about 10 of the books that anyone could pull it off, but Titus Welliver is Harry Bosch in my mind now.

Absolutely! He’s perfect for it. And easy on the eyes, too.

Love the books, love both shows. Less so in the spinoff, but - has ANY show's camera work ever made LA look better than Bosch? Even the grimiest locations look fabulous.

They still never told us which of the Pickwick triplets did it.

Truly one of the greatest shows, superbly written, superbly acted, poorly promoted.

I remember stumbling across it late at night - expectations appropriately lowered - being blown away, wondering why I'd never heard of it...and then when it disappeared just as mysteriously, thinking "well, at least I understand how the _second_ part happened." Find good stuff and PROMOTE IT, folks!

(I'm mostly talking to studio people who will never hear me, of course - but viewers have _some_ power here too.)

To be fair, FX had been running teaser spots that just basically said "Terriers!" and we thought it was a dog-show comedy. Makes me sad even today.

I thought it was about an amateur sports team called The Terriers. They were bad ads.

It was a good title - expressive of the actual characters - but really, really badly sold.

I mean, I'll be dead, so I don't care how convoluted the case gets or if the killer faces justice. What I care about is the aftermath being memorable, and if possible entertaining. So I'm going with this guy. Second choice was Dirk Gently, but then people would just be confused.
