I think it’s fine to say mean things to my cats bc they don’t speak English. Doing so is enrichment for my enclosure. I like to ask them, “What if I punted you off a bridge into a pool of lava? Full of sharks? Lava sharks?” And “What if I popped off your head and replaced it with a Barbie head?”

My fingernails grow so fast that it’s downright annoying. I did my nails for a Pride event on June 29. By July 4 they were grown out enough at the base to look silly. 🙃

Indonesia has a fascinating and EXTREMELY passionate metal subculture. I love seeing these ladies get some well-earned recognition and opportunities.

All woman metal band from Indonesia called Voice of Baceprot will be the first band from their country to play at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK. The trio is made up of 24 y.o. vocalist and guitarist Firda “Marsya” Kurnia, 24 y.o. drummer Euis “Siti” Aisyah and 23 y.o. bassist Widi Rahmawati.🎸

My local library growing up in the late ’90s-early ’00s, in a small city in Texas, had a great selection of very diverse YA books, including queer books. I visited a few weeks ago and found basically that entire collection gone. I understand why they did it, but it still breaks my heart.

I had a job that I enjoyed and could do well despite my disabilities, and while I wasn’t going to get rich from it, it paid the bills. It got automated out of existence, and in the months since I’ve been struggling so hard. None of my applications have gone anywhere. I just want some stability.
