In case anyone is worried about how seriously to take the French exit poll, I learned this week (via the News Agents podcast) that in France pollsters are allowed to sample actual ballot boxes before the close of voting (!) which makes them more reliable than UK ones. If that helps.

It took me about 20 minutes to do this, including the screed I wrote which I then had to cut down because they had a character limit. Apparently you're only allowed to have a certain amount of opinion on the topic of climate change.

Hard side eye for any academics blorping on about using AI, it’s an ethical disaster in every dimension and the failure to acknowledge that vs trying to look shiny & clever for the bandwagon is frankly embarrassing.
