I don't think they're mad because she's popular...they're mad because she's not a right wing white supremacist like they feel she "should" be. No football stars for a race traitor, or something like that?
Conservative man stops being concerned about the biological implications of a Disney movie about mermaids because he needs to turn his attention to Taylor Swift's latest boyfriend. Doesn't even have time to gloat about Margot Robbie Oscar snub.
Will film a tiktok about it in his f250 wearing camo
I can confirm. I watched the Chiefs Ravens game yesterday and I was unable to enjoy any of it because a pop star was on screen for a total of slightly less time than one of the dozens of commercials for online gambling.
It was kind of a combo of “String these three things together” and a nod to that other wonderful Mary Elizabeth, Ms. Mastrantonio, the “January Man” costar and Lombard and Oak Park, Illinois homegirl. Also a crush since “Scarface”.
What’s particularly weird is that 100% of the people who are mad about it said that they were no longer going to watch football after Kaepernick took a knee.
Oh, she’s political, and she’s left! This past year she got, I think, 30,000 young people registered to vote? And she’s endorsed various candidates in the past. (I’m not a diehard swifty, just a minor one, sorry I can’t be more specific.)
She's only endorsed occasionally; what I meant by political wasn't clear, I admit -- but what I meant was, as an example, getting up on stage and introducing her choice for POTUS. Or a fundraising raffle where she'll have lunch with the winner.
I expect her to do those at some point.
I don’t think it’s normal to be an adult and a football player.
But being a grown-up is largely about accepting that others lead lives you’ll never fully understand.
