I just saw an absolute ghoul of a person write an "inspirational" post on Linkedin about how to retire early, and in the middle he hid the nugget which was basically "just be rich bro"
Sounds like the sort of post from someone who has never had to worry about money in their life.
As someone *not* from the US, it's interesting to me that my language is most similar to the East coast. Maybe the British influence remained stronger on that side?
I love how I lived in Denver for about a month & Miami for only about a week when I was a kid, but clearly shaped my dialect π€£

I like the art more in Colour of Magic, as it's more consistent than The Light Fantastic, which starts doing interesting things, but at the same time varies in quality a little.
Still enjoyable and definitely suits the early novels.
Plus when I think of Rincewind, it's generally this version
