I had this exchange once where a media person kept asking for "your assistant, Mirya" and I kept going oh that's just me, no assistant and it took me a while to figure out that they thought there was an "Assistant Mirya" and "Professor Holman" not Assistant Professor Mirya Holman 💀

I'm here to tell you that I've lived it and it is possible!! How I did it: - kept a google doc as I went with my itinerary and costs, notes about names of receipts - uploaded receipts to concur as I went - pure ice on my veins
