Style guide question: when referring to someone as a convicted felon, is it retroactive when they weren’t yet a convicted felon during the incident in question? E.g., convicted felon Donald Trump once said that he wasn’t a fan of sharks, and hated them almost as much as he hates losers and haters?

Right now I just kind of want to be selfish. Focus on me, MB, and just work my arse off to make sure everything I want and need is taken care of. Again, I’m tired of explaining, I’m tired of not being heard or seen over minor things. I’m just tired.

Things have been challenging in my personal life of late. I usually have all the answers, how to make things better, how to move forward… And I think I know this time around as well, it’s just… I don’t know if I can. I don’t know if I can do what needs to be done. I’m tired

It’s hard to know what to say about being ND. I know I’m on the autistic spectrum (like closer to autistic), and I am diagnosed adhd, but when I say it’s a whole other experience, I mean this. I have only just finished the bulk of this project.

How it started and how it’s going

I love sleeping in my daughters room when I’m feeling sad and upset, listening to her breathe puts everything in perspective.

It is sometimes so so hard to be a mum and run a business but I’ve no right to complain. I love my work, but holy crap, I feel like I do everything. And I can’t unwind at times because there’s always more to be done.

I’m currently applying for a PhD looking at new mums with newly diagnosed adult adhd and managing family and work obligations, and the supports they need. I’m also considering a separate pathway of occupational psych specialising in supporting adhd folks in the workplace. Any thoughts?
