He will not accept the outcome of any election in which he is not the winner, period. He's even said, "The only way I can lose is if it's rigged." He won't even entertain the idea of losing.

I have always believed that Trump's first run for office was a publicity stunt. He wanted to raise his profile nationally, to promote his brand, but didn't seriously think he'd win. Then he did, and suddenly he was put in a position for which he had zero capabilities and skills. He's such a fraud.
Totally agree. Roger Stone's 2016 Stop the Steal organization, which Trump most assuredly knew about, (It first appeared after Ted Cruz won the Iowa Caucus in 2016.) was essentially designed for publicity. Later versions became devilishly serious.

I get where you’re coming from and certainly Trump is somewhat unique in his particular brand of empathy-devoid bluster. But the people behind his first administration are not going to give up if he dies. They’ll find another mouthpiece. This isn’t going to end abruptly even if Biden wins this year.

The one thing that makes me a little less concerned about him losing and trying a coup is that he has less pull than 4 years ago. Yeah, he’s got sycophants, but he can’t pull any crap with the military, and the indictments for co-conspirators in places like GA should make some people think twice.
