I get the gallows humor of urging Biden to do crimes to stop Trump/SCOTUS etc. But the truth is that if Biden actually committed a serious, obvious crime in office (assassination, for example), I'd bet my bottom dollar he would be impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate with Dem votes.
My first proposal was to order some large proportion of the fleet of federal vehicles to park in the SCOTUS parking lots.
Not all crimes are horrible, like assassination. Some are just petty, annoying ways of making it clear how crazy it is to give the President this much power.
Have we fully considered the possibilities opened up by the fact that the Supreme Court building is federal property?
BUBBLEGUM SCENTED AIR FRESHENER IN THE HVAC DUCTS.
We can't do anything about their caseload; it's up to them to decide when to grant cert. I imagine Biden could, however, reassign the entire secretarial staff. Maybe even spend the budget or office supplies on quills and ink, as the Framers intended.
The Guano Islands Act let 19th-century sailors claim deserted guano islands for the USA. We had over 100 of these and still own 10, militarily administered by the president. If we save one for Trump's exile, that leaves 9 for the justices. (Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson should get first pick.)
Another "crazy" idea:
Know how some states and businesses are banning face masks during a COVID uptick?
Cue the "Presedential Freedom of Masking Act of 2024," with tax breaks for individuals that wear N95 masks for at least ninety days in 2024.
biden could declare an emergency involving the breach of nuclear secrets by a former president and freeze trump's assets, and since trump isn't afraid of being prosecuted anymore he'd probably just drop out of the race
SCOTUS just said, with the explicit example of Biden using special operations to assassinate Trump, that Biden can legally use special operations to assassinate Trump.
He could have them killed, pardon the killers, and ask Congress to pick better justices lest they meet the same fate.
The SCOTUS has no enforcement authority, and the power of the pardon puts a president above the law.
Long before this warped decision on immunity.
And every single Dem who would vote to convict would also be among the first marched into the camps or summarily executed in the next Trump presidency.
What possible difference does this make? Just make sure the "crimes" are permanent.
It is remarkable how willing to play by calvinball rules the left is.
