This is Tom Platz, known as the Quadfather. Other than the steroids, his method for turning into a veritable creature was very high rep sets of very heavy ass to grass high bar squats, and hack squats.

Gonna go with a free-wheeling version of my last block of Super Squats, with A and B workouts to alternate bench and press. Given that I am very likely to jump back into super squats after 3 weeks, this is me being intelligently lazy.

I have seen much, much worse, but damn

When rock climbing was added to the 2020 olympics that will happen in 2021, they incorporated 3 disciplines: speed, lead, and bouldering. This is the 15m speed wall. Every speed wall is identical, each hold is exactly the same on every single one.

Imagine if biden supported supreme court reform *instead* of repeatedly and vigorously rejecting it. Imagine if the dems threatening us with camps and project 2025, had a position on actual events occurring currently and a plan of action regarding those currently happening things happening now.

This is gonna be big news for the Dudley demographic

Back in 2022, libs like brooklyn dad were doing the whole maga thing of photoshopping their hero's head onto cool bodies. Identical to all that maga chud bullshit of trump's face slapped onto bulgingly muscular action movie bodies.

This is the Shirley card, on which a shit ton of color photography and film was calibrated for generations.

Getting your camera to properly show *snow* as white and not a grey color, was an extremely difficult process. It took an enormous amount of skill to take good pictures that contained snow (with a high albedo that reflects 90% of oncoming light), and basically anything else.
Avatar
Cameras used to require that you set the exposure correctly for light levels. You would use a light meter, point it at what you wanted to take a picture of, and it'd tell you what settings, aperture and shutter speed to use.
Avatar
These meters were themselves calibrated by buying sheets of paper that were colored with a grey ink itself calibrated to reflect back a given percentage of light. These were called Grey Cards.

This is a petard. It's a bomb that you'd place against a door to blow the door in. If you fucked up, you'd get blown up too. That was getting hoisted by your own petard Fun fact: petard comes from the latin verb for fart, pedere. Shakespeare was making a fart joke.

Hm, this quiz tagged my accent perfectly.

An *actual* very hard problem in AI, is that you literally do not need any AI involved for people to be utterly convinced they're dealing with AI. Meet Claude Shannon's machine for playing Hex, it's just a resistor mesh, no logic gates or programming involved.

Clearsky says a user named rocksizedrock added me to a ton of lists at the same time, months ago. Pro-hamas antisemite fake ally etc. I can't remove myself from these lists because they blocked me afterwards, I can't search and block them. So anyway, starter packs.
Avatar
The best part is, I have no way of removing myself from these lists. I can't even search his name, he added me then blocked me.

So, you know about bouba/kiki. But did you know that the bogeyman is firmly in the bouba camp no matter which language you speak? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bogeyman

Blake Fall-Conroy made an artwork where you turn a crank to release one penny every 5 seconds or so. If you crank it for a solid hour, you'd earn $7.25, minimum wage. Those NPC livestreams remind me of this.
A thing I am too old to understand, is the twitch emote economy. Twitch famously allocates bandwidth based on channel popularity, the more viewers you get on average the better servers you get. This is scarcity imposed on the creator's side, and totally expected.

The very biggest, most popular streamers make millions of dollars per year. The other 99% make almost nothing.

There's an interesting thing that happens whenever someone knows a lot about something, which is that they forget what it is like to not know a lot about it.

walipini greenhouses are interesting. They're greenhouses that are partially subterranean. The average temperature one meter below ground is about a constant 55F, ~12C.

For example: this is the phonological banana. Each phoneme has a typical pitch and a typical volume sensitivity. Within the speech banana of the normal human vocal range, your ears are fine-tuned for processing speech.
