a good way to alleviate concerns about Bidens debate performance / age *and* concerns about court overreach would be for Team Biden to schedule a short TV speech on it and give a firebrand performance about what he intends to do about it

if he could answer some off the cuff questions from reporters without a teleprompter that would also help

It doesn't matter if a bunch of "will-vote Rs" will think your actions are bad. Their non-votes are already priced in, and they're not voting for you either way.
Hopefully the live remarks are "by their 6-3 vote in the presidential immunity case, these six justices have declared they are unfit to judge the constitutionality of any argument and if re-elected I will treat their six seats as vacancies on the Supreme Court."
Why wait? "I have directed the DOJ to open prosecutions against each of them immediately, as their decision held is my absolute right, and the FBI should be raiding their homes right.....now."
Because that would send the wrong campaign message and feed into Trump's claim that Biden uses the justice system to persecute his enemies.
Ignoring the validity of anything they have to say - both here and going forward - makes much more sense.

But if you say "if re-elected I will..." that grants you a mandate to do so if re-elected, while simply trying to do it now will fail in the face of the Manchin Sinematic Universe saying no.
And I would bet that Biden's numbers greatly go up if he runs against this Supreme Court, not just Trump.

Biden's best use of the new immunity would be to deny Trump the White House if Biden loses the election. Basically Trump laid out the blue print. This time there's no reason to think it won't be followed, by either side. Yeah that's the end of democracy but really it ended at 10:30am today.
Let Roberts figure that one out. Go ahead, Roberts, go to the WH and try to remove Biden. In the end it's who the military will obey. In short if we are going have coups let's have real ones.
