Horney's (on Main St.)
Clinton, IN 35 421 1686
the subsequent 14 years have not been kind 4 1 14
OMG, it's the essence of post-industrial middle America in a two-image series. 6
Can't even have a Horney's on Main anymore. Due to woke. 1 3
Maybe it was the owner who got all high and mighty and woke and moved to one of those elitist coastal big cities, like Chicago.
I don’t care it’s still beautiful
Nothing turquoise can stay
That real? Or just a Wes Anderson movie-set? 2 13
Google Maps says:
It was real in 2009, and on Main. Not so much by 2013, the Horney's lettering was gone. 3 12
So what you’re saying is there shouldn’t be Horney on Main 1 7

Tbf this is the fate of most who are Horney on Main. 2
It's a very Wes Anderson framing. 1
I love the figures in the upper windows. 5

Great name for a used adult bookshop. 1
Every image on this account looks like it’s straight out of a Wes Anderson film. 1
this is a day to night sort of business if i've ever seen one! 1
I lived in a small South Texas town where the men's fashions store was named for the prominent family who owned it. Yep, Dowdy Men's Wear. No kidding. 1
I don’t get it. It’s just a pet story that specializes in toads.
Horney's in Clinton.....
I feel like there's a joke here that David Letterman would milk to death.
Which Wes Anderson movie is this tho
Someday, when I'm feeling patient, I will lay out my plan to bring the general store back to US communities, through a strategic production initiative.
Mmmm, you know they got the BBQ
it looks like part of a model train layout
Amazing. Just outstanding.
Why that's just down the road apiece from Farmer City. 1
Strike that. I was thinking Clinton, Il. Oops. 1 1
I grew up in Champaign. I've been all over the area (Clinton mostly due to its proximity to the lake where a friend sometimes took us water skiing). 1
Nice. I did my undergrad at ISU. I had a few good friends from Chambana 1 1
Several of my friends went to either ISU or Wesleyan (my dad was born in Normal, so I like that too). It's a neat area. 1 1
