watched the first "Vera" last night, E1 S1. They were taking fuller advantage of locations than they bothered with later, and the interiors (apartments, offices etc) were almost comically clean, orderly & freshly painted in festive colors. By S5 every hovel is an alcoholic's who doesn't wash dishes.
the weird thing about being on the internet is nobody really notices when you disappear cause there’s always enough stuff to fill the timeline. i’m overstating it but it’s partially true. there’s nonzero count of people you forgot about because they stopped posting or deactivated
