The story discusses this, as well as how several other candidates like Moonlighting recently made it to streaming. Right now, I'd probably say China Beach.
You mentioned Ed in there and every once in a while I think about how I wish it was streaming because I think it would make a nice chill/background/comfort viewing kinda show to put on when needed.
When the ordinaries complain about shows disappearing (because this is a thing that JUST started happening) it’s everything I can do not to scream about China Beach
I picked up the first season of Miami Vice on DVD at a thrift shop last week and I can’t believe how much classic 80s music is on that show. It’s not available for streaming (in Canada annyway) and I would have assumed the music played a part in that.
Until Tubi (briefly) picked up the baton, that title belonged to Babylon 5, created by the phenomenal @straczynski.bsky.social. Now we need to get David Simon himself away from the hellsite and over here.
If The John Larroquette Show ever dropped you'd see miles of online reactions. When I tell people about "Here We Go Again" they look at me like I grew up in an alternate realm where TV was amazing. (I did. It was called 'The 90s').
For drama, I'm tossing in votes for Nothing Sacred and Christy.
I would be DELIGHTED to have this available. In the UK, I could only catch odd episodes at strange times, so I'm sure there are loads of episodes I've never seen.
