Don't ever let someone tell you that your vote doesn't matter and can't change anything. These four races I was involved in all took place in SEPA in the past decade; there are many more all over the country, every year.

Wow, real banana republic stuff. I'm glad our presidents can launder money and associate criminally without worrying about this kind of thing.

In the past decade I've had three clients elected to township commissioner or school board in TIED elections, one who prevailed by a single vote, and a county judge who won by 4 votes out of 65,000+ cast. www.mcall.com/2022/06/16/z... This guy's a fool. And dangerous.

There's no longer any ceiling to how wackadoodle Republican lawsuits can go. As @elliemargolis.bsky.social has flagged, the sovereign state of Missouri, being unable to invade or embargo New York, has instead sued it before SCOTUS to try to aid Trump, because ... reasons. ago.mo.gov/wp-content/u...

I'm old enough to remember when Donald Trump posted an online video calling for a "unified reich" in the fine print. That was only 44 days ago.
"Donald Trump posts an ad which calls for a 'unified reich' in the fine print" is one of those crazy outrage things which you have to double-check because it couldn't possibly be true... except that it's totally true. video at truthsocial.com/@realDonaldT... Undoctored image screenshotted at 0:03.

In teeny-tiny election law news that only nerds like me tend to care about, until it matters, PA Commonwealth Court affirmed late yesterday in a disputed GOP state house primary that write-in votes cast for someone whose name is on the ballot DO NOT COUNT. www.pacourts.us/assets/opini...

Folks, this has been a really draining political week, but @lolgop.bsky.social is right: if we can't take some measure of satisfaction and justice from the disbarment and humiliation of Rudy Giuliani by the New York courts today—note the "P.S., turn in your badge" at the end—then why care at all?

Okay, folks, who is putting together the list of the funniest crimes that Biden should be committing between now and election day to highlight the absurdity of today's immunity ruling? Not the stuff like assassinations. Just stuff to make a point.

One under discussed aspect of today's immunity decision is that it completely drowned out our annual Bobby Bonilla Day commemoration.

So today's decision means Ford never needed to pardon Nixon because he couldn't have been prosecuted. Had Ford known this, (a) is he so strong in 1976 that he isn't challenged by Reagan, (b) does he beat Carter, (c) does the Iran hostage crisis still happen, and (d) does Ted Kennedy win in 1980?

When Trump and McConnell packed the Supreme Court, this was the moment they anticipated. Now, their hand-picked supermajority has returned the ultimate favor. The Roberts Court just declared an end to American democracy as we know it.

On this day, I would like to highlight the Great Seal of the State of Virginia: Virtue, bearing a spear and a sword, stands with one foot on the overthrown tyrant. The tyrant, dead, holds a broken chain and scourge; the toppled and corrupting crown is left lying on the ground. Sic semper tyrannis.
As Justice Sotomayor explains, today's Supreme Court decision on Trump immunity transforms America from a land of "no more Kings" to one of "no, more Kings."

Today's SCOTUS, in a nutshell: Facebook and Twitter can still prevent Trump from using its platforms to promote a violent insurrection, but he can't be prosecuted for promoting a violent insurrection.
