The dazzling vector graphics of The Cockpit, Sharp X68000 version from Compac Inc. As a flight sim fan, and of mysterious Japanese computers, The Cockpit rubs an itch. It's a landing simulator, so there's not a whole lot to do on it, but it's so gorgeous and atmospheric that it doesn't matter.

That cute top you think you look smashing in? Porn. Two cute gay guys holding hands? Porn. An honest and important book for girls about periods? Porn. They truly are this headfucked. "It's porn" will become the new "I smell weed in your car" that will allow them to legally destroy your life.

I want to double click on Project 2025's concerns about porn. Not only do they argue pornography should be outlawed at the federal level, but that anyone who produces/distributes it should be imprisoned. What's more, teachers and librarians who "purvey" porn should be registered as sex offenders.

It's hard to express how exhausted I always am anymore.

I know, Reddit, but I found a tool that lets you see which replies have been invisibly (to you) deleted, and it's really interesting to see just how weighted report abuse is in r/politics, especially if there's the slightest whiff of meta-commentary. Like way deep in a thread at 1 AM with one other.
