Most of the way through @aptshadow.bsky.social 's Service Model at the mo and the inevitable failure of tortuous logic in it is both amusing but so, so, worryingly plausible. A great "sorbet" book to cleanse the palate between series.... recommend.

I love Kowloon so much despite the many dark parts of its history and meaning and I think more games should recreate it both because new generations should experience it as a world wonder lost and because it'd just work amazingly well for many genres. Soulslikes? Metroidvanias? Simulations? Perfect.

Morning, Bluesky. Two days and a wake-up until the start of much-needed change in the UK. As there’s some confusion, here’s a tactical voting guide from The Progressive Alliance. Everywhere not mentioned, it’s safe to vote Labour.

First "day" writing - 3.5k words on the big one and 1.7k on a short story about autism becoming neurotypical. Even if I only keep half that in edit I'll take it as a win. Will be interesting tracking my bipolar cycle vs output. Currently on the downswing, so we'll see #amwriting #scifi #bipolar
