Spare dogleg transmission: there's a piece of allthread right now because this needs a new bolt. Inside the shift lever was a polyethylene bushing that wore out. I cut one from oillite, which is coarse sintered bronze vacuum filled with oil so it's self lubricating. Harsher but precise feeling.
I'm interested in hearing about your cool tolerant tomato choices!
I'm trying Bulgarian, Ukrainian, and Russian this year, with one from northern China.

Tig brazing steel tubing. TIL if you wire brush the bronze while it's still nearly red-hot, it turns blue from oxidation. This is nearly my favorite color.
I'm welding bike frames for practice. This is the DT/HT joint and it looks like a fillet brazed and filed joint but it's all steel. This is roughly 10,000 times as rewarding as my job and I sure wish I could make money doing it.
Montmorency Booth. First name after the dog in the 1890 book "three men in a boat (to say nothing of the dog)" and Booth after George Booth, a cartoonist for the New Yorker magazine, whose active career was 1946-2022.
I'm not sure we needed a third turntable but it was free on a street corner and it has rca outputs for standard components so I don't have build another RIAA phono preamp.
