Now I'm thinking about Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. Like I guess all Primus, it's great fun on occassion, but would be horrendous to have stuck on repeat 😬
The first song that came to mind is "Santa Baby." I'm not sure who sung the version that I have in mind but it was played multiple times every day during November and December when I worked in retail.
"Let's Get it On"
(Heresy, I know, especially because it's sung by Marvin Gaye, but I don't care—it's gross and unsexy and I've hated it since it came out)
May i suggest that any songs (even my all time faves) would be torture if played on a loop forever? And furthermore, turning an old favorite into something i could no longer stand strikes me as a more excruciating bit of torture than forcing me to listen to, say, the Barney theme song or some such.
There was a period of several months where every morning, my sister would listen to Toploader's cover of 'Dancing In the Moonlight' on a loop till we left for school. This was an easy choice.
My PCP has In the Hall of the Mountain King as its hold music. I don’t mind the piece in any other context, but hearing it while waiting to get my meds refilled is panic-inducing.
