Milo Murphy's Skylines I assume it would be just like Cities:Skylines, but the disasters would /always/ snowball and would also have a comedic component.
White Collar: Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes I guess they could do a story about sketchy game economies intersecting with dark web commerce?

Outdoor thermometer location is important! Last night, I replaced the batteries in the thermometer, and changed its location. This afternoon I noticed it was reading high (the high today was around 90°F, not 100°F). It was in the shade, but was on the east side of a pillar receiving direct sun.

Even with the gloves, my blister didn't fair well. And the gloves made it so much harder to deal with the screws (which took almost as much time as cleaning everything!)

Waiting for the basin to fill, so I can see if the float still works.

I bought a float while I was getting tubing connectors. And some gloves, because I already have a blister.

Zuben does not like the camera, but doesn't hide from it like Amica.

This one is particularly amazing.

Look what I found in my yard! It was the cover for my swamp cooler; that corner is bent enough I'm worried it will break when I try to straighten it.

Also, I'm not sure this counts, but I think the 1992 version of Tyger is superior to the original from 1988.

Bulb died. Multiple cracks around the base of the bulb. I'm wondering if it got too hot.

Today I got Shelter by Lloyd Kahn and Bob Easton (and several dozen contributers). First, the book is huge. I guess it is supposed to be a coffee table book? Anyway, it is a little uncomfortable to read because of that.
I got Simple Shelters by Jonathan Horning in the mail today. Each type of shelter gets 2-3 paragraphs and a page of drawings. There is just enough mentioned about the cultures associated with the shelter, and how the shelter was used, that you can do further research.

The book is all over the place. It feels more like a loosely-organized zine collection than a book. There are a lot of articles written by contributers.

It does talk about historical housing, some in the beginning but some scattered through the book. Adobe is mentioned in a few places, with the praise that it can last a hundred years (it can last much longer), and few details about it's actually construction. But thatch roofing gets diagrams!

There are some incomplete how-tos for building various parts of buildings, sarcastic comments on dome houses, some vibes-focused articles on NYC, and this...

Jet Pens. It's under loose leaf papers because the sheets are punched for B5 binders. The sheets tear off very easily, but I haven't had one come off accidentally yet!

I got a green Sharp Kerry mechanical pencil over the weekend, and the color matching between the aluminum cap and plastic body is interesting. (I knew this was a problem before buying.)

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last tv show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you? This is not going to go well. For anyone.
You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last tv show you've watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you? Well. Either I'm getting saved in a really cool action sequence, or I get a dramatic death which the volume will largely revolve around. Win/win, to be honest.

In the US, a lot of kitchen brooms are already made from recycled plastic bottles. Micro plastics, unfortunately, will be here for a long time.

I've ordered this; it looks like it has potential, but many of the reviews are from people wanting to build a home, so I'm trying to keep my expectations low. Simple Shelters: Tents, Tipis, Yurts, Domes and Other Ancient Homes (Wooden Books) a.co/d/eXp9BXV
