Just a reminder: it’s good to oppose assassinations. But you are under absolutely no obligation to treat Trumpists and Trump-apologists as people who are honest, or acting in good faith, when they purport to condemn political violence or violent rhetoric. They’re not sincere.

And already the Trump cult is spreading a horribly made fake photo of Trump "as he was being shot at." It's almost comical. But unfortunately the cult is trying to use it to incite violence. Sigh.

CNN is interviewing a Republican PA state senate candidate and: - he's overstated the size of the crowd (15,000? lol no) - he praised Trump's defiant stance - he KEPT praising Trump It's a cult.

Kind of interesting that media outlets owned by right-leaning companies (Gray, Sinclair, etc) are not acknowledging that there was gunfire. Just that there were "sounds".

So this is a trending topic over on the hellsite.

So how long until the political violence starts? Sigh.

Twitter is having issues, either because it's overloaded or because Elon is trying to do damage control, or both.

In the wake of the #SCOTUS ruling, there's only one thing to do now: Biden should simply issue an executive order disqualifying convicted felons from the presidency. Since an executive order is an official act of the executive branch, it's untouchable. Sadly it won't happen due to lack of spines.

I can’t believe the Supreme Court just ruled that the president can sleep outdoors in a public space.

Well, the United States is now an elective monarchy, and the Democrats are going to do absolutely nothing about it, which means in November the United States will probably become an absolute monarchy.

I have a sinking feeling France is about to become a fascist state. Doesn't fill me with much confidence about the U.S.

Reminder that there are five ways to address the current SCOTUS problem. 1. Impeach some justices 2. Impose term limits 3. Expand the courts 4. Pass legislation limiting court prerogatives 5. Keep winning the presidency for the next 16 years or so while periodically also holding the senate.
