If you don’t watch cycling I want to share the joy of Eritrean Biniam Girmay, who is the first Black person to win a stage in the Tour de France and now won his second! In the first week! And he’s in green, which means he’s winning the most sprints (and beating Jasper Phillipsen, which is great.)

We stayed out there all night and got up the next day and organized some artist friends to paint this mural the next day. This became a space for mourning and anger, we built an altar for people murdered by police, and held events there. It changed how I think about what protest can be.

I just think this is the best beer can design ever.

I just realized that after two years of waiting, my #KidLit book comes out NEXT MONTH. This Land is my answer to "This Land Is Our Land," a way for you to talk to kids you love about land theft and the displacement of Indigenous people from the lands we've called home since time immemorial.
