It's important to note that in France, yes, a fascist majority was prevented, but they still doubled their presence in parliament. The fascists didn't stay home. They went & voted. It's just that enough decent people showed up to beat them back to a significant degree (& make them cry). SHOW UP.

And, consequently, I have nothing but absolutely positive stories of working with that genuinely excellent person. This is all to say, stories about David Tennant from those who know him are so positive that they actually beget MORE positive stories about David Tennant.

Judging by the noise outside my neighborhood is giving an all round 🖕🖕 to the HOA’s ‘no loud bangs’ declaration. Which… ya know what, fuck HOAs, have at it folks.

Gotta say one can’t help but chuckle at the UK left utterly MURDERING the conservatives on America’s most important symbolic day of ✌️Liberty✌️. We can do the same in November. Let’s go.

Ok so if you need tips in the UK election, the Liberal Democrats are basically the equivalent of the Libertarian party in the US - completely non-governmental interference, I-do-whut-i-WANT party.

UGH, Farage won his seat. His party is nowhere near a majority but horrible farty smell will still linger in the Commons.

Everyone in the US should be watching the UK election results tonight. The ruling Conservative Party(Tories) is predicted to get utterly DESTROYED, restoring the UK to a Labour(centre-left) govt for the first time in nearly 20 years. We can do this.

I have work. It’s fine, it’s interesting, it pays the bills, I’m good. More & more recently, sewing flips my brain switch and makes me happy in my off time. Have something you make for YOU, not for public consumption/exposure/monetisation.

my advice to everyone is just make something analog, doesn't matter what, just create something new with your hands and brain doesn't need to be inspired, doesn't need to be good even- just making something flips switches in your brain and makes life better
