I just got an email from my local greyhound rescue that Caliente, the dog track at Tijuana, is closing. If you're in southern California and thought about a retired racer this might be a great time to reach out to an adoption group. Retired track dogs make awesome pets.

“They want to eliminate national parks” is a very simple way to get just about anyone on the Stop Project 2025 train. Are there much more glaring and life-threatening goals of P25? Yes but even your most bigoted cousin does not want to see the parks system sold for parts.

This!! Start with “they want to end no fault divorce, sell national parks, and ban porn” end with tax structure.

Happy #primeweek! I just want to let y’all know that the Amazon shipping warehouse where my husband works is denying workers fans during a nationally recognized heat emergency and everything you order during time week places workers’ lives at risk.

But if you're like "teehee, my sixteen week old Doberman puppy is so protective already, he lets me know when strangers are around" babe he's not sure how to act about them, that's not protection

Now, as I have personally trained all my dogs, I get how this might seem hypocritical I'm absolutely against board and train, where you send your dog away But if you're running into something that needs work, take a class! That you AND the dog go to!

Also I've got a degree in psychology and hyperfocused on both dogs and training, so I consider myself in general qualified for what have been my personal needs

I belong to (read: spectate) a couple of dog groups on Facebook, and while I shouldn't be surprised at how many people say "I want my dog to learn from me, not a stranger with a certificate" Well
