So for all the narrative about the inevitable slide into anti-immigrant populism, four of Western Europe's five largest countries now have left or center left governments?

They also cheated by sabotaging peace talks in both Vietnam and Iran in order to get two of their presidencies, and one was given to them by a Supreme Court decision from people they appointed in one of said stolen presidencies.

Isn't it amazing to think that the GOP could have only a fraction of the power it has now? This could be true if only not for these three (somehow legal) hurdles: - The Electoral College - Gerrymandering - Voter Suppression The only way the bad guys win is through cheating.

@botanical.bsky.social やっっっと咲いたクレマチス・ブルーベル。花色は赤みの混じらない青で、草丈20〜30cmなこともあって、とても可憐で可愛らしい花。夏には花色が水色に褪せてしまうものの返り咲き性も大変良く、我が家では去年は4〜7月いっぱい何度も繰り返し咲いてました。問題はひどいうどんこ姫ということ。今年はさらにハダニと強風で春先からボロボロで、強剪定を2回施してようやく一番花の開花。来年以降はもうちょっと考えてあげねば。

kamala sucks and so does biden, but at least her brains are not leaking out of her ears due to rapidly-onsetting dementia so having her take office and become the default dem candidate seems like the easiest maneuver to make before the election
